Faculty Qualifications
All faculty hiring is in compliance with the faculty credentialing standards of the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), the Iowa Code, and with faculty standards required under specific programs offered by the community college that are accredited by other accrediting agencies.

Policies and Procedures
Policy/Procedures Documents for Human Resources can be found by visiting Board Policy Series 400 contains information pertaining to sick leave, vacation, maternity leave, bereavement, etc. Some of these topics are also addressed in this handbook.
Training - SafeCollege Online Training
EICC employees are required to access training for the following:
- Active Shooter: Run, Hide, Fight
- Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Prevention
- Browser Security Basics
- Child Abuse: Mandatory Reporting
- Discrimination Awareness in the Workplace
- Email and Messaging Safety
- FERPA: Confidentiality of Records
- Password Security Basics
- Sexual Violence Awareness for Employees
- Title IX and Sexual Harassment Prevention for Employees
Employees will receive communication from HR about the timing and availability of training.
