Program Review

Program review is an important step in the assurance of the quality and currency of the college’s programs. The review process consists of a four-year cycle that encompasses a systematic collection of data and information about a program in order to improve the program’s effectiveness. The information in the process is gathered, summarized, disseminated, and used to develop an action plan that is used to enhance the quality of the program. The overall goal is to identify actions, curriculum, instructional methods, and resource needs in order to move the program from its current level to forward-thinking approaches that better prepare EICC students for the workplace or transfer to a 4-year institution following completion of the program. Each year, about 25% of Arts & Sciences disciplines and CTE programs begin the program review cycle.
