Hiring Practice for Faculty

College hiring practices will ensure the following credentials for full-time faculty: faculty have attained knowledge and competencies in their subjects or discipline areas as documented by the attainment of the minimum hiring requirements specified in Iowa Code 260C.36 Section 8.

All hiring complies with the faculty credentialing standards of the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), the Iowa Code, and with faculty standards required under specific programs offered by the community college that is accredited by other accrediting agencies.
