CAD 141 - Parametric Solid Modeling II Credit(s) 3.00 Lecture Hours: 2.00 Lab Hours: 2.00 This course is a follow-up to Parametric Solid Modeling I. Areas to be covered are assembly modeling, detail or drawing creation, geometric dimension and tolerancing, and model-based definition. More complex modeling will be covered as well. File management will be stressed to help in document organization.
Prerequisite(s): CAD 140 SLOs: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Create complex feature-based models.
- Create assembly models from part models.
- Create drawings from part models.
- Analyze assembly models for interferences.
- Animate assembly models.
- Create drawings from assembly models.
