Welcome to Eastern Iowa Community Colleges, THE Community’s College.
At our May 2024 graduation, an EICC graduate had written “JUST THE BEGINNING” boldly on her cap. We were so proud to be a part of her learning experience and to help her pursue the next phase in life.
Wherever you are in life, choosing to continue your education is a big step-and we’re glad you’re here. This isn’t just about earning a degree or completing a class. It’s also about building a future that means something to you and impacts others around you.
As the saying goes, “Touch a life so that others may be touched.”
At EICC, we believe every student can succeed, and we make sure you have what you need to get there. That might mean smaller class sizes where you get to know your instructors, hands-on learning that connects to real careers, or support when life gets in the way. Whatever your path looks like, you are not walking it alone.
College isn’t always easy, but it’s worth it. Ask questions. Get involved. Don’t be afraid to reach out when you need help. The effort you put in now will open doors you may not have even imagined yet.
This is just the beginning, and my colleagues and I can’t wait to see what you do next.
Believing in you always,

Liang Chee Wee, Ph.D.
