CAD 139 - Introduction to CAD/CAM Credit(s) 3.00 Lecture Hours: 2.00 Lab Hours: 2.00 This course is an introductory course focusing on the creation of real parts using Computer Aided Design (CAD)/Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software and Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine tools. Students will create 3-dimensional parts using SolidWorks parametric modeling software or equivalent software. Students will then export those part files to Mastercam CAM software or equivalent software, and process the part files to be machined using a CNC Machine.
