Are you interested in the study and practice of human communication? The transfer majors have been designed to provide a broad education, with emphasis in an area of interest. The Communication transfer major emphasizes communication theory and practice, ranging from interpersonal to understanding the role of media in our society, while the transfer major in English provides students valuable critical thinking and communication skills through reading, discussing, researching, and writing about literature. These programs are designed for students planning to transfer to a four-year school with majors related to English or communication.

Graphic Arts
The Graphic Arts Technology Program provides the core skills necessary for employment as a designer in the graphic arts, publishing, web-design, marketing and advertising industries. Student will learn to prepare typescript and graphic elements using computer software to produce publication-ready material. Students will develop a portfolio that demonstrates their design skills and creativity.
