This course is a comprehensive project-based course that will integrate the skills mastered in previous program courses. Students will be required to complete a project assigned by the instructor. The use of information from the solid modeling, machining, lean, additive, and inspection courses will be a requirement for this project. The final project will include the part or assembly as well as a report containing any information needed to create the part or assembly, for example, material requirements, detail drawings, and processing information. Analyze and creatively solve manufacturing challenges through the development of a comprehensive plan.
