This course will cover the fundamental knowledge, principles, techniques and equipment used for precision measurement and inspection in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Students will develop hands on skills through a series of projects in a lab setting. There will also be coverage of Statistical Process Control or SPC. No

- Understand fundamental measurement concepts.
- Apply best practice techniques for using common metrology tools.
- Interpret and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancign (GD&T) principles to drawings.
- Select and use appropriate inspection methods for various manufacturing processes and feature inspection.
- Document and report measurement data.
