DRA 125 - Introduction to Play Analysis Credit(s) 3.00 Lecture Hours: 3.00 This course focuses on the reading, discussion, interpretation and analysis of dramatic texts. It is the aim of this course to provide a concentrated study of beginning play analysis through discussion and written analysis. Students gain an understanding of the important role that dramatic analysis plays when mounting a production in the theatre.
SLOs: Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Define key terms and concepts related to play analysis.
- Evaluate a dramatic script using key terms and concepts.
- Analyze a dramatic script.
