BCA 215 - Computer Business Applications Credit(s) 3.00 Lecture Hours: 3.00 This course is for experienced computer application users. This is an upper-level applications course utilizing Microsoft Office programs. Special attention will be given to applying skills to business situations.
Prerequisite(s): CSC 110 SLOs: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Format word processing documents with graphics, lists, tables, and other advanced word processing tasks.
- Use data sources to create merged documents in a word processor.
- Create spreadsheets using advanced features such as financial formulas, data tables, and consolidated spreadsheets.
- Create databases using advanced features such as control features, linking, subforms, and various data formats.
