ITP 127 - Interpreting Skills Lab III Credit(s) 1.00 Lab Hours: 2.00 This is the third in the sequence of three Interpreting Skills Lab courses. It provides students with an opportunity to practice interpreting skills in a safe environment under instructional supervision. Students will practice interpreting in a variety of simulated settings with feedback from the instructor. Students will also increase their ability to self-evaluate their own interpreting process and product through extensive analysis of their work.
Corequisite(s): ITP 941 SLOs: Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:-
Interpret spoken English texts into American Sign Language (ASL) simultaneously at a skill level appropriate for an entry level interpreter.

Interpret signed texts into spoken English simultaneously at a skill level appropriate for an entry level interpreter.

Evaluate interpreting product to identify related skills within the interpreting process.
