IND 137 - Process Control II Credit(s) 3.00 Lecture Hours: 2.00 Lab Hours: 2.00 This course is a continuation of Process Control I. The students will learn to read and interpret process and instrumentation drawings (P&IDs), perform instrument calibration, and properly tune process controllers with reference to temperature.
Prerequisite(s): IND 136 SLOs: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

Describe various control techniques.

Interpret Piping and Instrumentation Drawings (P&IDs).

Perform calibration procedures on instruments.

Demonstrate how to properly tune controllers using the Ziegler-Nichols method.
