HUM 183 - Living with Space, Time and Technology Credit(s) 3.00 Lecture Hours: 3.00 This course will explore human values and individual beliefs within a constantly changing environment, community relationships, technological networks, the ethical dimensions of work and a meaningful personal life-style. This course satisfies a general education requirement in the Arts and Humanities Area.
SLOs: Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:-
Explain interrelationships among the units: change, community, work and leisure, ethics and technology.

Analyze how their lives have been affected by issues discussed.

Apply humanities principles to vocational and avocational endeavors.

Explain how humans over time throughout the world have experienced similar challenges and have held similar hopes.

Apply themes from works by poets, essayists, historians, short story writers, and novelists to their lives.
