HIT 170 - Principles of Human Disease Credit(s) 3.00 Lecture Hours: 3.00 This course will introduce Cancer Information Management (CIM) and Health Information Management (HIM) students to the principles of human disease. This course will also introduce students to therapies for management of pain, diagnostic methods, testing, and procedures.
Corequisite(s): HSC 113 and BIO 163 or BIO 168 SLOs: Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:

Define common disease terms.

Describe the major categories of human disease.
