HIS 120 - Readings in Western Civilization Credit(s) 1.00 - 2.00 Lab Hours: 2.00- 4.00 This course is designed to provide the student with additional reading in history, allowing the student to obtain a greater understanding of the various problem areas in this discipline than can be attained by normal course work.
Prerequisite(s): ENG 105 and either HIS 117 , HIS 118 , or HIS 119 SLOs: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

Complete in-depth, instructor approved, readings in history (primary and/or secondary sources).

Discuss the readings (primary and/or secondary sources) with a history instructor or professor.

Provide written evidence of analysis of those readings.
