HCR 116 - Domestic Heating Credit(s) 5.00 Lecture Hours: 2.50 Lab Hours: 5.00 This course covers installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of gas, fuel oil, electric furnaces, and heat pumps. This course will also cover temperature, humidity, air filtering, and air movement for a complete home conditioning system.
SLOs: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Identify types of electric heaters.
- Identify types of gas furnaces.
- List various sources of indoor air pollution.
- Discuss reasons for providing humidification
