EGT 450 - PLTW - Computer Integrated Manufacturing Credit(s) 3.00 Lecture Hours: 3.00 This course builds on computer solid modeling skills. Students use CNC equipment to produce actual models of their three-dimensional designs. Fundamental concepts of robotics used in automated manufacturing and design are included.
Prerequisite(s): EGT 400 or EGT 410 SLOs: Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:-
Use a three dimensional, solid modeling software package with mass property analysis.

Understand the machine tools and its operating and programming aspects.

Convert computer generated geometry into a program to drive CNC machine tools.

Work in teams to design manufacturing work cells.
