DRA 132 - Acting II Credit(s) 3.00 Lecture Hours: 3.00 This course is a continuation of Acting I. Students will further explore the techniques in the art of acting with special emphasis on analysis and dramatic interpretation. For a final project, the student(s) will perform a monologue or finished scene from a play in recital.
Prerequisite(s): DRA 130 or consent of instructor SLOs: Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:-
Explore advanced skills of the actor including character analysis, innovative rehearsal techniques, diverse styles of acting, and basic script analysis.

Explore the acting process.

Develop his/her specific innate talents as a performer.

Approach creativity with a critical eye.
