BUS 210 - Business Statistics Credit(s) 3.00 Lecture Hours: 3.00 Through this course students develop an in-depth knowledge of the following statistics principles: frequency distributions, cumulative frequency distributions, relative frequency distributions, histograms, measures of central tendency, measures of dispersion, probability, the Central Limit theorem, confidence interval estimates, methods of sampling, hypothesis testing, analysis of variance, correlation analysis, linear and multiple regression analysis, chi-squared test, time series and forecasting, statistical quality control, and statistical decision-making.
Prerequisite(s): MAT 156 SLOs: Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:-
Develop a comprehensive understanding of how statistics is used in the business world, ranging from the theoretical perspective to the application of statistical information in business decision-making.
