BIO 186 - Microbiology Credit(s) 4.00 Lecture Hours: 3.00 Lab Hours: 2.00 This course is an in-depth examination of the microbial world, with emphasis on classification, reproduction, genetics, physiology, infectious disease, and control. Laboratory exercises will be directed toward the use of equipment and identification of clinically and economically important organisms. This course may satisfy a general education requirement in the Natural Sciences Area.
Prerequisite(s): BIO 114 or BIO 168 SLOs: Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
