BIO 173 - Human Anatomy and Physiology II Credit(s) 4.00 Lecture Hours: 3.00 Lab Hours: 2.00 This course is the second course in a two semester sequence. The content includes study of the following organ systems or topics: cardiovascular, lymphatic, immune, respiratory, digestive, metabolism, urinary, and reproductive. This course may satisfy a general education requirement in the Natural Sciences Area.
Prerequisite(s): Minimum grade of C or higher in BIO 168 SLOs: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

Develop a vocabulary of appropriate terminology related to anatomy and physiology.

Explain the physiological functions of body systems

Explain the interrelationships within and between anatomical and physiological systems of the human body
