AGH 211 - Advanced Turfgrass Management

This course is a continuation of AGH 112 Introduction to Turfgrass Management. Students will explore practices that will promote a healthy turf area after it is fully established. This will include correcting nutrient deficiencies, identifying turf needs, and addressing turf pests.

Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:

Identify nutritional deficiencies in establish turfgrass.
Determine proper corrective action needed to create a more enduring turfgrass area.
Respond to a turfgrass area’s changing physiological needs due to weather fluctuations.
Identify and correct common turfgrass pests.
