This course is designed for basic maintenance of horticulture equipment. Major topics will include safety, tools, troubleshooting, and other repairs to the equipment used in the horticulture industry.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

Display understanding of the differences and similarities of 2-cycle and 4-cycle engines.
Demonstrate common preventative and corrective maintenance techniques for horticulture equipment.
Demonstrate repairs and use basic equipment in the horticulture industry.
Display understanding of the operation of basic hydraulic units.
