GRA 325 - Digital Color Theory Credit(s) 3.00 Lecture Hours: 3.00 This course provides insight into the effective use of color through the study of contemporary color theory. Through a series of problem-solving and hands on experience and projects, students will apply their knowledge of color perception, expression, and application for both traditional and digital design. Scientific, psychological, historical, religious, cultural and commercial perspectives will also provide insights and understanding of the intrinsic power of color in design.
SLOs: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Explain how color works.
- Analyze the changing effects of color under varied conditions.
- Utilize color to achieve a specific purpose.
