This course provides instruction to gain technical expertise in development using cloud technologies. This course includes best practices for building secure applications in the cloud, best practices for deploying applications in the cloud, and learn cloud computing services and models.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

Recall cloud computing services and models.
Describe developing on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Configure AWS Identity and Access Management for programmatic access.
Configure storage with Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) programmatically.
Develop with Dynamo Database (DynamoDB).
Explain caching.
Configure containers.
Develop event-driven solutions with Lambda.
Configure solutions with Application Programming Interface (API) Gateway.
Develop solutions with Simple Queue Service (SQS) and Simple Notification Service (SNS).
Describe the use of Step Functions.
Identify best practice for building secure applications.
