HCM 291 - Cake Decorating Credit(s) 2.00 Lab Hours: 4.00 This course is designed to explain and demonstrate the techniques, equipment, and components required to produce a decorated cake. Students will practice decorating layered cakes and tiered cakes.
SLOs: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

Produce a decorated cake.

Identify the different type of frostings and icings available to decorate cakes.

Use a variety of decorating mediums, including fondant and gum paste.
