PSY 224 - Adolescent Psychology Credit(s) 3.00 Lecture Hours: 3.00 This course is a comprehensive examination of the physical, cognitive, and psychosocial dynamics of the developmental period between the ages of 11 and 18 years. Topics of discussion include puberty, the adolescent and the family, the adolescent and peers, education of adolescents, and sex and drugs in the adolescent subculture. The course is designed to provide an accurate picture of the adolescent within American culture.
