MAT 706 - Industrial Math and Measurement II

This course is the second in a two-course sequence designed to give the student a basic knowledge of applied mathematics. Topics include functions and graphs, right and oblique triangles, systems of two and three equations, powers, roots and logarithms.

Prerequisite(s): MAT 705  
SLOs:
Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:

  • Solve algebra problems encountered in a technical field.

  • Solve trigonometry problems encountered in a technical field.

  • Solve problems utilizing powers, roots and logarithms encountered in a natural field.
