GIS 111 - Intro to Geographic Information Systems Credit(s) 3.00 Lecture Hours: 3.00 The focus of this class will be on the basic processes and applications of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The class will cover file formats, databases, spatial analysis, and use of GIS data and decision-making.
SLOs: Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:-
Identify the elements of a geographic information system (GIS).

Organize spatial data and learn how to maintain the spatial data.
