EGT 400 - PLTW - Introduction to Engineering Design Credit(s) 3.00 Lecture Hours: 3.00 This course will expose students to the design process, engineering standards, research and analysis, technical documentation, global and human impacts, communication methods, and teamwork. Students will employ engineering and scientific concepts in the solution of engineering design problems. In addition, students will use Inventor, a 3D solid modeling design software package, to help them design solutions to solve proposed problems.
SLOs: Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:-
Make math and science relevant for students through activities-based learning.
