CRJ 941 - Practicum Credit(s) 3.00 - 4.00 Lab Hours: 6.00 - 8.00 Practicum is intended to provide hands-on learning and experience relating theory to practice. Students undertake up to 99 hours of work and observation in settings that meet individual career and academic goals. The college approves sites and faculty members oversee the practicum. Academic assignments accompany the hands-on learning experience.
Prerequisite(s): Minimum Grade Point Average of 2.0 and permission of faculty member, Department Coordinator, and Dean. SLOs: Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:

Demonstrate competence in meeting the performance standards required by the practicum supervisor.

Demonstrate punctuality and attention to detail by completing all reports, documentation, and evaluations required by the college and/or the practicum site accurately and on time.
