CRJ 142 - Criminalistics Credit(s) 3.00 Lecture Hours: 3.00 This course covers the fundamentals of forensic science, criminalistics, and investigation. It includes crime scene search and recording, collection and preservation of physical evidence, scientific aids, modus operandi, sources of information, and case preparation.
SLOs: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Assess the application of forensic techniques to the analysis of biological and physical evidence.
- Demonstrate the application of forensic techniques to the analysis of biological and physical evidence.
- Identify the common steps taken during a scene search.
