CNS 109 - Wildlife Ecology Credit(s) 3.00 Lecture Hours: 3.00 This course is the study of the application of wildlife ecology and management techniques; censuring; capture and marking of wildlife; habitat evaluation; habitat restoration; Iowa game laws; life history studies; and the application of wildlife management principles as they relate to important ecological and recreational resources.
SLOs: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

Develop foundational knowledge of regional wildlife and their importance related to ecology and society.

Describe the biology, management, and population ecology of selected wildlife species and groups.
