CIS 331 - Microsoft SQL Server Credit(s) 3.00 Lecture Hours: 2.00 Lab Hours: 2.00 This course will cover Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL) Server structure and characteristics as well as SQL commands from both console and user interface. While learning Microsoft SQL Server commands, students will compare and contrast them to the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) SQL and apply both against the server. Students will use Microsoft SQL Server in a client computer and in a web server supported by Microsoft Active Server Page (ASP).
Prerequisite(s): CIS 186 SLOs: Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:-
Utilize SQL server commands from both console and user interface.

Compare and contrast SQL server commands to the ANSI SQL.

Apply SQL server commands to the ANSI SQL against a server.

Utilize SQL server in a client computer supported by Microsoft ASP.
