This course is designed to offer the student an opportunity to present and discuss current topics, problems, ideas that do not relate to current course content and discuss questions pertaining to the agricultural industry. Instructors will guide discussions and attempt to provide conclusions and develop attitudes conducive to successful farm business management. A major portion of each Seminar course is devoted to the educational programming and leadership activities of Professional Agricultural Students (PAS) organization. This is the first of two sequential courses that are required for graduation from the Farm Management Program.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

Identify local and global issues impacting agriculture.
Organize a class discussion.
Plan in Professional Agricultural Student (PAS) Organization activities.
