The Automotive Technology program prepares students to work in the automotive parts industry or to secure positions in dealerships or independent garages as technicians or service writers in training. The EICC Automotive Technology program has achieved certification from National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).

Diesel Technology
The Diesel Technology program prepares students to secure positions in a diesel shop. The Diesel Technology program has achieved certification from National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). Students are prepared to pass ASE certification exams in up to eight areas: Gasoline Engines, Brakes, Diesel Engines, Suspension & Steering, Drive Train, Electrical/Electronic Systems, Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning, and Preventive Maintenance Inspection.
