Emphasis is placed on the concepts of fluid and electrolytes, metabolism, perfusion, professional behaviors, caring interventions, and managing care, Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to provide quality, individualized, entry level nursing care.

Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of C in ADN 302, ADN 451, and BIO 186.
