ADN 451 - Health System Concepts Credit(s) 3.00 Lecture Hours: 3.00 This course is designed to further develop the concepts within the three domains of the individual, healthcare, and nursing. Emphasis is placed on the concepts of grief/loss, violence, health-wellness illness, collaboration, managing care, safety, advocacy, legal issues, policy, healthcare systems, ethics, accountability and evidence-based practice. Upon completion, students should be able to provide safe nursing care incorporating the concepts identified in this course.
Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of C in ADN 301 , BIO 151 , BIO 173 , and PSY 121 . Corequisite(s): Completion of or concurrent enrollment in ADN 302 and BIO 186 .
