HIT 312 - Health Informatics and Information Management Systems 3.00 Credit(s)
This course provides an overview of healthcare information systems with a concentration on computerized Health Information Management (HIM) functions. Students will be introduced to common software applications utilized to perform HIM processes. Emerging technology issues in healthcare will be explored, as well as the selection and implementation of software applications. 59.4 Lec. Hrs.
Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of C- in CSC 110 and HIT 596 .
The prerequisite for HIT-596 is only for students in the HIT program. If you are taking this course as a CIM student, the only prerequisite to this course is CSC-110.
