A commitment to public safety, well-being, and individual rights are the foundations of a career in criminal justice.

The Applied Associate of Science major in Criminal Justice has been designed to prepare students intellectually and physically for criminal justice academies and employment in the field of criminal justice. Knowledge of criminal law, navigating the dynamics of crime and society, knowledge of the government, physical training, and knowledge of the social sciences and liberal arts/humanities will be emphasized. Some law enforcement departments and agencies require the award of AAS in criminal justice as a minimum educational credential for employment.
