AVR 200 - AR & XR Development Credit(s) 3.00 Lecture Hours: 2.00 Lab Hours: 2.00 This course is a project based learning course that will teach students how to work exclusively with the augmented and mixed reality development pipeline. Students will learn techniques to create engaging applications that fully optimize AR and XR device resources, such as phones, tablets, and glasses.
Prerequisite(s): , AVR 215 , and AVR 220 SLOs: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Evaluate the benefits of augmented reality platforms.
- Evaluate the benefits of mixed reality platforms.
- Determine the most suitable platform for the client.
- Adapt the AR functionality into applications.
- Adapt the XR functionality into applications.
- Reconstruct assets to be optimized for target device.
