This course is a continuation of ART 173,Ceramics. This course provides the student an opportunity to further explore and develop their artistic vision and technical skills. Students will strengthen the quality of their portfolio.

Prerequisite(s): ART 173
SLOs:
Upon successful completion of this course students, will be able to:

Use the vocabulary of ceramics.
Expand their knowledge of the history and current trends in ceramics to include a variety of artists and their work.
Demonstrate an increased skill and technique in pottery processes.
Create a body of work over the course of the term.
Further development of independent art creation and their artistic vision.
