PE 406 - Assignment and Transfer

Assignment shall be based upon the qualifications of the candidate and the philosophy and needs of the Eastern Iowa Community College District.

Changes in assignment, to include transfers, may be made at the request of the employee, by the Executive Officer or at the initiative of administrative staff members with the approval of the Executive Officer with the Executive Officer’s decision being final and binding. Reassignments, appointments, and transfers (on a permanent or temporary basis) shall be made with the full knowledge of all parties involved, and shall be reported to the Board.
