It is designed to provide the student with a fundamental knowledge of the rules of nature as they pertain to temperature, heat transfer, change of phase, waves and sound light, quantum theory, atomic nuclei and radioactivity. Emphasis is placed on the methods of understanding and investigating nature using scientific method.
