In this course, students will learn statistical techniques for further study in business, economy, and finance. Topics include frequency distributions, cumulative frequency distributions, relative frequency distributions, histograms, measures of central tendency, measures of dispersion, probability, the Central Limit theorem, confidence interval estimates, methods of sampling, hypothesis testing, analysis of variance, correlation analysis, linear and multiple regression analysis, t-test, F-test, chi-squared test, time series, and forecasting, statistical quality control, and statistical decision-making. 59.4 Lec. Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of C- in MAT 067 or MAT 156 or minimum math placement score based on college assessment within the last two years. Immediate prerequisite course must have been completed within the last two years.
