ENG 107 - Composition I: Technical Writing

This is a writing course designed to prepare students for the types of communication essential to the working world. Through practical application, students will gain confidence in their writing abilities and improve their proficiency in critical reading, problem-solving, communication, and collaborative work. This course is an alternative to ENG 105 Composition I and is recommended for students in technical, business, and science programs. Students will create individual presentation(s) and collaborative presentation(s). Students will write and revise at least four formal assignments and produce a minimum of 20 pages. 59.4 Lec. Hrs. This course satisfies a general education requirement in the Communications Area.
