This course focuses on advanced concepts including application of classic animation techniques to a three dimensional (3D) environment. Topics include complex rendering, animation, forward and inverse kinematics, capture of motion data, and the use of reference footage or live action to duplicate 3D motion behaviors. Students will use industry standard software such as Autodesk 3D STUDIO MAX, Autodesk MAYA, or other similar tools to develop 3D models and assets. 19.8 Lec. Hrs. / 79.2 Lab Hrs.
