This course is designed to acquaint the student with the fundamentals of Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Oxy-Acetylene and Plasma Cutting Processes, as it pertains to the Auto Collision Repair industry. Instruction will be given in equipment, setup, safety, and application in the Oxy-Acetylene and GMAW processes with an emphasis on safety. The lab will be correlated with the lecture to provide the student with practical hands-on experience.
