Study of the basic structure of the German language reviewed; emphasis on basic oral composition and exact reading. Conversational practice in lab with tapes. This course may satisfy a general education requirement in the Cultural/Historical Perspectives Area.

Prerequisite(s): FLF 141  or 1-2 years of high school German
SLOs:
Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:

  • Carry on conversation in German regarding the everyday topics used in travel, sports, purchasing, eating, driving the car, plus using correct grammar including gender, verb and adjective endings, present, past and future tenses.
